Responsibilities
- The Sr. Safety Engineer leads highly complex multi-disciplinary project teams to design and implement EHS related projects.
- Develops and implements new or revised occupational safety policies, guidelines and standards. Participates in the development of Health & Safety functional strategy.
- Lead and/or manage the investigation of industrial accidents, injuries or occupational diseases to determine root cause and implementation of preventative measures.
- Lead and/or provide Incident investigation guidance and support to drive root cause identification and corrective action closure.
- Willingness to travel 50%+.
- $120K-150K. Relocation provided.
Requirements
- The Sr. Safety Engineer BS/MS in a safety or engineering related. A CSP or CIH is a plus.
- 8+ years of multi-site EHS experience required a heavy manufacturing, metals or similar industry.
- Demonstrated experience in leading complex, multi-disciplinary EHS projects/project teams.
- Experience with air & sound related testing.
- Willing to travel one week a month to other plants.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
