Sr. Environmental Engineer – Houston, TX

Responsibilities

  • The Environmental Engineer will be responsible for overall environmental compliance management system that documents requirements, how compliance is assured, record location, and responsibility.
  • Conduct training to support compliance management activities. Provide permitting support for facility in multiple areas to ensure consistency in evaluating and permitting strategic projects.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and proposed federal, state and local environmental regulations to ensure continued compliance with regulatory and permit requirements.
  • The Environmental Engineer must have the ability to forecast the impact of regulatory changes on facility operations and advise and recommend to management effective methods to implement changes.
  • Assist with air emission calculations, including the development of new and improved methodologies. Auditing and multi-plant experience. Willingness to travel.
  • $100K-$130K. Relocation provided.

Requirements

  • The Sr. Environmental Engineer will have a BS degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years in chemical manufacturing and a corporate authority for environmental engineering.
  • Experience related to air, water, waste, etc. for the state of Texas.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
