Responsibilities
- The Reliability Engineer will serve as first point of contact for DCS and PLC interlock/control issues.
- Ensure PSM/RMP requirements are met for the Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
- Participate in design reviews for capital projects.
- Lead, maintain and improve reliability programs. Lubrication & vibration a plus.
- Complete Root Cause Failure Analyses on equipment failures.
- Perform reliability reviews of new projects and develop preventative maintenance plans for capital installations.
- Relocation provided, Texas residents preferred. $100K-$115K.
Requirements
- The Reliability Engineer will have a BSEE (preferred) or BSME degree.
- 3 – 5+ years of experience in a chemical plant.
- Ability to program in a DCS/PLC environment and use various troubleshooting techniques to solve problems.
- NFPA 70E (Arc Flash) Training Certification a plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
