Responsibilities
- The Project Engineer is accountable for project results that achieve business objectives and is responsible for translating those business objectives into the capital project objectives.
- Leader of the Project Leadership team.
- Engages the project steering team to ensure alignment with business and functional direction, request staffing support, seek assistance with issue resolution, make strategic project decisions and provide status updates, throughout execution of all aspects of the project.
- Assesses team functional capability, identifies expertise gaps within the project team and solicits the steering team for necessary staffing support.
- Relocation provided.
Requirements
- The Project Engineer will have a Bachelors degree (chemical or mechanical).
- 5-10 years of experience with examples of design thru installation and start up of capitol projects (over $500k?).
- Experience in the food, chemical or pharmaceutical industry where unit Operations apply.
- Drying, Filtration, Bulk Material Handling, Six Sigma, PSM and GMP experiences are a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
