Responsibilities
- The Project Engineer provides project management and technical engineering support, including specifying equipment for new construction and reconditioning of existing systems and equipment.
- Assists with the development of final project scope, best engineering solution, cost, funding requests and spending throughout the life of the project.
- Communicates requirements for team membership to site leadership as needed. Provides direction to this team in order to meet the execution timing and cost of project.
- Performs technical design reviews for piping, rail and other mechanical projects.
Requirements
- The Project Engineer should have a BSME and 4- 5-years of mechanical engineering experience and project engineering in plant environments with a focus on pipelines and storage.
- Cost control, estimating, scheduling programs (MS Project, Primavera, etc), and forecasting.
- Ability to work in and foster a strong team environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
