Responsibilities
- The Production Supervisor will oversee production activities through shift supervisors and may also interface with the hourly non-union force. Prepare and administer programs, methods, systems, and practices for reducing costs and improving employee and plant efficiency, safety, productivity, and reliability.
- Manage the capital budget, interface with the project engineering department as necessary to recommend, prioritize, design, and install new processes and equipment as required to meet the long-term vision.
- Manage the overall production plan for shutdowns. Develop (with process supervisors’ input) detailed shutdown, decontamination, and start-up plans for major plant shutdowns.
- $110K-$135K. Relocation assistance available.
Requirements
- The Production Supervisor will have a BS degree with an engineering major (chemical preferred.
- 5+ years chemical plant process / production experience and 2+ years experience supervising others.
- Must be able to respond to off hour emergencies. Ability to work weekends, holidays and respond to callouts on a non-routine basis. Good working knowledge of SAP.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and have a stable work history.
