Production Leader – Philadelphia, PA

Responsibilities

  • The Production Engineering Leader is responsible for Process Hazard Analysis/HAZOP activities.
  • Act as technical lead for work teams with a goal to identify and implement productivity improvements. Work within teams to identify and implement longer term process improvement efforts, with the overall goal being to achieve improved safety, higher yields, better production rates, and higher attainment.
  • Responsible to drive actions for improving raw material yields.
  • Contribute to the development of annual plant operational targets.
  • Champion cultural change, accountability and continuous improvement mindset throughout the organization.
  • Relocation provided. $110K-$150K.

Requirements

  • The Production Leader will have a BS degree with an engineering major (chemical preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical and operational aspects of a chemical manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Aspen Plus, PipeFlo, Autodesk, etc. 
  • Experience in Process Safety Management covered processes, safety procedures, and requirements in a hazardous chemical environment .
  • Experience with the elements and application of Lean and Six Sigma processes and methodology.
  • Experience with use of SAP, DCS and common software applications (such as Experion, Foxboro, or DeltaV).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
