Process Manager – Pensacola, FL

Responsibilities

  • The Process Manager is responsible for leadership of the Process Engineering and Quality System teams to improve production capabilities and product quality.
  • Coordinate Quality Systems functions to meet standards, customer complaint analysis and response, and implement the QMS and ISO 9001 compliance.
  • Manage plant test instruction systems and assist with Product Development tests.
  • Engineering team will provide technical support to Operations, troubleshooting production issues, and applying appropriate statistical tools and optimization methodologies in continuous improvement of production capabilities.
  • Work in cross functional teams with all levels within the organization and represent the Company with external customers, suppliers and the community.
  • Actively contribute and participate as a member on the Plant Leadership Team.
  • Utilizes resources to accomplish Company objectives within budgetary constraints.
  • Responsible for growth, development, and training of the team members.
  • $90K-$100K. Relocation provided.

Requirements

  • BS Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree with 5+ years experience as Process Engineer / Technical Lead in chemical, fiber, polymer/ nylon, or related process plants.
  • Experience with spinning systems, extrusion, chemical and / or thermal bonding, web handling, drying desired.
  • Knowledgeable of ISO 9001, QMS, SPC/ SQC.
  • Prior engineering leadership preferred.
  • Ability to deliver repeatable manufacturing and product quality performance.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
