Responsibilities
- The Process Engineer is responsible for unit operating performance to include production, raw material usage, energy usage, quality, daily performance tracking, troubleshooting, and basic unit optimization.
- Drive unit performance to operational entitlement with respect to yields, usages, reliability, and quality.
- Achieve annual operating productivity targets by maintaining a unit performance tracking program.
- Monitor unit performance by tracking key process indicators (KPI’s) and key operating parameters (KOP’s).
- Maintenance of performance tracking tools to include set point or target changes.
- Basic troubleshooting and optimization of the process to address gaps identified through daily performance monitoring.
- Relocation provided. $80K-$95K.
Requirements
- The Process Engineer will have a BS or MS in Chemical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in process / production at a chemical engineering plant.
- Experience with Aspen products, heat transfer, hydraulics, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management is essential.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
