Responsibilities
• Assist in troubleshooting of existing processes .
• Identify and implement projects to support the site’s cost and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Work with rotating equipment, vacuum systems, fire heaters/exchangers, tankage and instrumentation.
• Establish manufacturing standards, monitoring actual plant performance, and make proposals for improvement.
• Contribute to the training of operators, production supervisors, and others as required, particularly in the area of new and modified processes.
• Relocation provided.
Requirements
• B.S. or M.S. Chemical Engineering mandatory.
• 8+ years’ experience working for a chemical manufacturing company.
• Has completed improvement project from conception to start-up support including the “project engineering” details on small projects.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and aspects of chemical manufacturing.
• Experience in process equipment design and distributed control systems a plus.
• Experience working with in the OSHA PSM, PHAs and LOPA.
.• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
