Responsibilities
- The Plant Manager leads all plant operations and continuous improvement activities with overall responsibility for safety, production, maintenance, quality, and other production support areas.
- Will also focus on ensuring a safe work environment, optimizing throughput, and controlling cost, while maintaining quality standards that results in maximizing profitability.
- Direct leadership responsibility for the plant leadership team at a 125+ person non-union manufacturing facility.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to optimize operations and improve productivity to meet and exceed business objectives; works on strategic projects that have plant and network-wide impact.
- Effectively leverages the leadership team to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges in the plant
- $120K-$150K. Relocation provided.
Requirements
- A BS degree with an engineering or business major.
- At least 10 years of career progression including roles as a production manager, continuous improvement manager, manufacturing area manager, operations manager, six sigma black belt, or similar in a manufacturing environment; to include 5 years of as a Plant Manger or Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead and drive continuous improvement, performance metrics and lean methodologies.
- Previous P&L responsibility.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
