Maintenance Supervisor – St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities

  • The Maintenance Supervisor will lead Maintenance safety and environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Manage labor relations and training for mechanical department.
  • Provide Maintenance mechanical plant support.
  • Lead Mechanical predictive & preventative maintenance programs
  • Develop and manage standard Work Procedures for mechanical equipment.
  • Provide daily supervision of the Maintenance Mechanical department (salaried direct and wage roll indirect). Provide plant turnaround/shutdown leadership.
  • Assist in developing capital project programs (i.e. ACE projects, Major Capital projects, etc.) for new equipment and major repairs.
  • Relocation provided.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Five or more years’ work experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a chemical manufacturing plant, refinery or similar manufacturing operation.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
  • Good working knowledge of Mechanical Codes and Standards.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
