Responsibilities
- The I&E Engineer will design, specify, and implement field instrumented devices, pressure relief devices, process analyzers and interfaces to process control systems.
- Responsibility for support role of field instrumentation, analyzer maintenance and capital projects to facilitate the group’s role to improve yields, occupancy and production rates.
- Identify and implement measurement and control improvement projects, interfacing with Process and Control Systems Engineers to achieve Automation and Controls improvement goals.
- Development and optimization of Preventive Maintenance (PM) procedures for field instruments and analyzers.
- Relocation provided. $80K-$100K.
Requirements
- The I&E Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major and 4-6 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing.
- Experience with instrumentation typical to process industry such as Temperature / Pressure / flow transmitters, control valves, regulators, and interfaces to control systems.
- Background in specification and diagnostics of Measurement and Control Element Devices.
- Ability to develop and update P&I drawings, loop drawings, specification sheets, and electrical schematics.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
