Responsibilities
- The Chemist will manage specialized, complex, and involved assignments ensuring the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures on raw materials, intermediate, and final customer shipment products while working closely with laboratory and plant operators, providing training and supervision as needed.
- Certification of vendors/verification of raw materials.
- Development and implementation of specifications and analytical procedures for raw materials, intermediate products, and final customer shipment products.
- Procurement, operations, and maintenance of production and QC analytical supplies and laboratory equipment and general maintenance of production labs.
- Maintain equipment and documentation to ensure validity, accuracy, and reliability of analyses.
- Relocation provided. $70K-$80K.
Requirements
- The Chemist will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry and a minimum of 4 years chemical manufacturing industry experience.
- Lab and plant supervision experience.
- QMS and ISO 9001:2008.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
