Responsibilities
- The Applications Engineer will work closely with product management, commercial team and customers to identify new product opportunities.
- Develop various film families including stretch films, shrink film, custom film, bags and agricultural films.
- Primary focus will be stretch film research and development. Generate innovative ideas/concepts that could lead to active development programs; with ultimate goal of commercialization.
- Work closely with manufacturing and commercial teams to ensure successful transition of programs/products to commercialization.
- Relocation provided. $90K-$110K.
Requirements
- The Applications Engineer will have a BS degree with an engineering major.
- Hands on laboratory and pilot plant experience and ability to travel up to 50%.
- Fundamental knowledge of polymers and understanding of technologies associated with design and manufacturing of flexible films. Polyethylene experience preferred.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
