Antenna Design Engineer – Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

  • The Antenna Design Engineer will develop the strategy and roadmap for antenna development.
  • Create innovative antenna design concepts to meet the demand for broadband, dual-polarized, cost effective designs.
  • Work with customers to propose custom designs that meet their requirements.
  • Learn more about near-field, far-field, compact range, and other measurement techniques and to provide antenna expertise and insight to the group.
  • Understanding of farfield and nearfield test methods, radome test systems and radar cross section (RCS) test systems.
  • $90K-$130K. Relocation provided.

Requirements

  • The Antenna Design Engineer will have a Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with research / thesis work on antenna design.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in antenna design.
  • At least one of the 3D EM simulation tools such as CST, HFSS or FEKO Strong experience with antenna test and measurement systems, anechoic chamber principles, link budget analysis, and manufacturing of microwave antennas.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance..
