Antenna Design Engineer – Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities

  • The Antenna Design Engineer will develop the strategy and roadmap for antenna development.
  • Create innovative antenna design concepts to meet the demand for broadband, dual-polarized, cost effective designs.
  • Work with customers to propose custom designs that meet their requirements.
  • Learn more about near-field, far-field, compact range, and other measurement techniques and to provide antenna expertise and insight to the group.
  • Understanding of farfield and nearfield test methods, radome test systems and radar cross section (RCS) test systems.
  • $90K-$130K. Relocation provided.

Requirements

  • The Antenna Design Engineer will have a Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering with research / thesis work on antenna design.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in antenna design.
  • At least one of the 3D EM simulation tools such as CST, HFSS or FEKO.
  • Strong experience with antenna test and measurement systems, anechoic chamber principles, link budget analysis, and manufacturing of microwave antennas.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a security clearance..
