Responsibilities
- The Plant Engineering Manager or Facility Manager is responsible for the maintenance of the plant equipment, building, utilities, grounds, and security. Also responsible for building modifications and/or machinery installations.
- Ensure optimal performance of all mechanical and electrical equipment to include continuous improvement, downtime reduction, energy consumption reduction, measurement, environmental impact. This includes: digital drive, PLC, and process control systems; plant computer systems and networks; electrical power distribution and systems; motor, gearbox, belt and pulley mechanical power transfer; compressed air generation and transfer; steam generation and transfer.
- Create standard work audits.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain preventative maintenance processes .
- Relocation provided, southeastern U.S. residents preferred.
Requirements
- The Plant Facility Manager will have a BS degree (mechanical or electrical engineering) mandatory.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing.
- 3-5 + years as a plant Engineering Manager, Maintenance Manager or Facilities Manager with responsibility for plant manufacturing equipment, utilities and related personnel. •
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and have a stable work history. Sponsorship is not available.
